Beth A Gold

Beth A. Gold’s love of writing stems from her love of reading and learning. She understands that shared stories are a source of unity so her heart is in embodied in every word she writes. Her inspiration is guided by her belief that ordinary people can do extraordinary things, turning everyday experiences into pivotal, life-changing moments. Beth wants her work to remind people that on the flip side of every struggle, there is possibility.  Light always follows darkness, and optimism allows for hope, growth, and deeper meaning.

Getting lost in stories that open our eyes, our minds and our hearts by connecting our individual experiences to the larger human experience assures us that we are not alone.  We are not meant to see around the corners, or know for sure what will be, we are meant to live our lives in our purpose and allow it to unfold.  Therefore, regardless of the topic, Beth’s writings reflect the idea that every choice matters, everyone we meet was put there for a reason, and whether we realize it or not, our path is guided by the fact that we are all interconnected.

When she’s not writing, you can generally find her with a cup of matcha tea, enjoying her roses, tending her bees, or using her unique esthetic sensibility to draw or take eye-catching photographs. Spending precious time with her husband, dog, family and friends is at the core of Beth’s life. In addition, her efforts to put smiles on peoples faces is not only reflected in her writing but has been apparent in her life-long career as a dental surgeon, in a practice she founded over 30 years ago.

Thanks for the message and most importantly the amazing book. I read it and showed it to Kevin-huge introvert and SC that does water color to meditate and he said-“I could be her friend.” So you know-he very rarely ever says that about anyone.

Hi Dr B. I just finished Lula yesterday. I got so immersed in her character that I felt I was living in Nashville. All of the references to the South were reminiscences of my time living in Charleston, SC. Congratulations for resurrecting Lula’s incredible life’s journey. I am sure that from her Methodist throne, she is looking down on you with self-deprecating appreciation and blushing.
